President, Midwest Dealer Solutions

Joshua L. Rodriguez

Josh has been married to his amazing wife, Vanessa, for 19 years. They have 3 beautiful daughters, Rylee, Alexis, and Emersyn. As president, Josh is part of the leadership team responsible for MWDS’s engagement efforts across the country. His primary goal with each client is to understand and deliver on their agenda and drive the dealer’s vision. MWDS specializes in maximizing their customer’s business through compliant sales, F&I, and service profitability while developing individuals to maximize their potential. Josh has over 20 years of automotive experience. He has held many different seats on the retail side, including Platform F&I Director for a large group. He has represented some of the best TPA’s where he was able to leave a lasting impact on hundreds of individuals through his mentorship. During that time, Josh had multiple dealers nominated for the F&I Dealer of the Year Award.

Brandon Malicoate

Brandon Malicoate is an accomplished automotive executive and entrepreneur with nearly 25 years of experience in dealership operations, finance, and income development. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his ability to strengthen dealer profitability, build lasting partnerships, and develop innovative strategies that help dealerships thrive in a competitive marketplace.

Brandon began his career in 2003 with Bob Howard Auto Group, where he established his foundation in finance and dealership operations. In 2006, he joined the Bob Moore Auto Group, serving in finance and sales management roles until 2013. During this period, he gained a reputation for leadership, customer-focused finance solutions, and operational excellence.

In 2013, he transitioned to Assurance Marketing, Inc. as an Income Development Specialist, working closely with dealers to improve profitability, optimize F&I performance, and elevate customer experiences. When Assurance Marketing, Inc. was acquired by National Auto Care (APCO Holdings) in 2020, Brandon assumed the role of Area Director for the Midwest Region, where he oversaw dealership development programs and regional growth initiatives. He held this position until October 2024.

Today, Brandon is a Partner with Midwest Dealer Solutions, where he continues his mission of helping dealerships maximize success through tailored income development strategies, training, and innovative F&I solutions.
Complementing his industry leadership, Brandon has shared his expertise as co-host of the Wrench Turners Podcast, contributing to industry discussions on fixed operations, training, and the future of automotive retail. His long-standing dedication to the industry, combined with a passion for helping others succeed, has made him a respected leader and trusted partner to dealerships across the Midwest.
